The word ‘present’ is so sticky so when it comes of the event you have to drive an hour or two to get there, it turns not so hard when you know there is a present awaiting for you. I guess all the ladies that came to visit the 10th annual Catwalk for a Cure at Hotel ZaZa felt the same. But they could hardly guess the price of each present would be as high as $500!

The name of Elie Tahari, an American-Israeli designer, is literally associated with a generous philanthropist. And he is truly the one. The thing is the world-known fashion designer is not only celebrating his huge success in fashion but his long-term cooperation with the Amschwand Sarcoma Cancer Foundation. According to Tahari it looks like “working with the Amschwand Sarcoma Cancer Foundation truly stands out over my 40 years in the industry”. So this was the evening to thanks all those people who help the foundation and to encourage those who are struggling with this terrible disease. One of the ways to do that was to present the gathering ladies with the above-mentioned presents – Elie Tahari’s dreamy clutches valued at around $500 each.

In his fashion show sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue, Elie Tahari added some outfits from his capsule collection “Edition 1974”.
