Hot Fall 2012!

The collection of Elie Tahari shown in New York proved to be the embodied femininity in its best colors and angles. Saturated colors, body-conscience silhouettes, smokey eyes and romantic hairstyles – these were the main characteristic features one could have noticed at his presentation. One more thing was the relaxed and cozy atmosphere, for that was not actually a classic runway fashion show, but a presentation in a large enlightened show-room. The models were standing still demonstrating the pieces of clothing. That was a fine solution for a prêt-a-porter collection because such way of demonstration lets the spectators scrutinize the details to their hearts’ content.

Blue is evidently Tahari’s favorite color in this season. At the show you could find blazers, cocktail dresses, minis, midis and maxis of all possible kinds and even down-padded coats for everyday wear. This noble color doesn’t even need any accessories. Along with the royal blue color there were red, violet and orange. Tahari calls us to wear bright colors without being afraid to combine them and look like a peacock’s tail. A vivid color is a luxury itself, and quite an affordable luxury, I may say.

At the backstage there were friendly smiles, fluttering hair, unexpected photos and motion, motion, motion!.. One might have easily felt dazzled by the looks of shuttlecocking gorgeous girls in such bright garments! The general atmosphere was very energetic and friendly, as it always happens at the shows of this designer.

Bags and clutches are things deserving particular attention. That was a dream, a colorful symphony no woman in the world, even the toughest iron lady could ever resist! One-color bulk bags are fantastic accessories and a canny solution for every day. Such bags go with all styles of clothing and will serve as the best energizers during the long and gloomy autumn days. Clutches trimmed with colored fur also looked sumptuous. Thus, fall won’t be boring if painted in the luxurious colors suggested by Elie Tahari.
