The 100th Anniversary Celebration of “the bible of fashion” journal Women’s Wear Daily was a great occasion for known luxury fashion designers and celebrated fashionista to meet together in a one place. Among the guests there were such stars like Iman, Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen, Graydon Carter, Hilary Rhoda, Carmen Kass, Caroline Trentini, Peter Som, Tory Burch, Zac Posen, Anna Sui, Christian Siriano, Fabiola Beracasa, Dan Peres, Olivia Chantecaille and many others were in attendance. Of course, Elie Tahari couldn’t pass this show by. While Francisco Costa, Iman and Michael Kors were sharing their most memorable fashion moments, Elie Tahari and Jessica Szohr were explaining their demand for everyday outfits.

“Just be comfortable with what you wear” – this is how Elie Tahari sees his own hitting the town. So, Elie Taharie’s desire for comfortable attire that makes a wearer feel relaxed is embodied in most of his clothes designs. For instance, his last tendency is for classy restrained style with midi skirts, up-to-knee vests, elegant trousers and convenient roll-neck sweaters found in his fall/winter 2010 and pre-fall 2011 collections.

What Did BHFF Mean for Elie Tahari

BHFF is the Beverly Hills Fashion Festival, the event organized by Jonathan Antin — a celebrity hair stylist. The event was held on November 6, however the impressions are still alive making the affair an occasion for discussion and sharing. BHFF was a great opportunity to see the runway shows from world known fashion designers, Elie Tahari took the stage too. And again his designs are impressive, fabulous yet wearable and buyable.

Unbelievable as it may seem, Elie Tahari proved he can add some spice to an ordinary little black dress. He’s broken a settled stereotype that “Everything that can be created has been already created”. Look at this photo below. There are no two identical black dresses, all of them are unique and different, more over they are gorgeous and appeal to a viewer. I’m sure some of them are about to go into the wardrobe of modern fashionista or at least to “the dream box”.
